Meet Ella & Snowball!
Hi, I’m Ella! I'm currently finishing up my master’s at NYU’s School of Professional Studies, where I’m deep into all things media, branding, and storytelling. Originally from the West Coast but now fully adapted to New York bagels and subway delays, I’m someone who thrives in creative chaos, quiet bookstores, and late-night brainstorms. Whether I’m sketching out a campaign, journaling at a café, or just recharging with a cat curled in my lap, I try to find meaning and softness in everything I do.
My Story with Snowball
This is Snowball — my unintentionally photogenic, deeply dramatic roommate (and no, she doesn't pay rent). We met during my first semester at NYU, at a time when everything felt new and a little overwhelming. She was the calm in my storm — or at least she pretended to be, right before knocking over my water bottle and sitting on my homework.
Snowball has the fluff of cotton candy and the attitude of a Broadway diva. She insists on being in every Zoom class, prefers classical music when she naps, and gives me judgmental stares if I’m late with dinner. This photo perfectly captures our relationship: me, trying to cuddle her like a stuffed animal; her, tolerating me with wide eyes and silent complaints.
She’s not just my pet — she’s my daily reminder to pause, laugh, and let go of perfection. Even in the middle of deadlines and back-to-back classes, she’s the reason my apartment feels like home.
